If you’re a Head of Quality / Quality Manager / Operations Manager with an eye for detail and you’re looking for something new to get your teeth stuck into then this might be something for you.
This role requires you to deliver quality-focused reports to the board whilst supporting Registered Managers within your remit to achieve ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ ratings in line with the CQC requirements. The majority of your work will be spent problem-solving and working with services to improve the quality and compliance across the Midlands remit, whilst working with Registered Managers to ensure services are delivering high-quality care to its clients.
Key Points
1. You will be expected to be visible across all services within the remit.
2. Candidate must have expert CQC knowledge and the confidence to work with a remit of Registered Managers.
3. Must act as a support system for Registered Managers.
4. Deliver on audits, quality checks, and monitoring of quality and compliance.
5. Must have current Registered Management, quality, or auditing experience within the elderly care sector.
6. Must have an eye for detail and understand that the role requires someone to focus on high-quality care.
The Candidate

Requirements
1. Experience working as an Operations / Quality Manager within the elderly care sector.
2. Good relationship skills.
3. Exposure to and compliant with CQC.
4. Passion for the care of elderly people (essential).
Interview Process
The interview process will be in a two-stage format:
1. Stage One – Teams (informal interview).
2. Stage Two – F2F (formal interview).
Summary
My client is seeking a Quality Manager with exposure to CQC inspections, where the successful candidate is able to deliver quality audit and monitoring processes whilst supporting Registered Managers and staff to achieve ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £65,000 – £70,000 per annum plus benefits.
