Role Summary: This position is within the finance team of a UK-listed company. The candidate will work at the divisional head office supporting the UK, Germany, and Singapore in a varied and challenging role. This role offers opportunities for development and collaboration with colleagues in many countries. A keen interest in process improvement is essential. Work Location: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days a week in the office at Bury St. Edmunds. Main Responsibilities And Tasks: Month end tasks including preparation of journals and balance sheet reconciliations. Submit monthly, half yearly and annual reporting to Group head office. Liaise with UK and overseas colleagues for intercompany reporting and reconciliations, including recharges. Manage Fixed and Leased Assets accounting and processes. Preparation of detailed forecasts and budgets. Support Credit Control Manager in preparing accurate cash forecasts on a weekly basis and management of foreign currency balances across the division. Management of company Corporate Credit Cards Ensure strict adherence to internal controls. Provide analysis as requested to support Group tax team Support team with submission of VAT, Intrastat and EC sales (3 registrations) Liaising with external auditors Produce KPIs for various parts of finance.
