This post is 26.35 hours per week and is fixed term for 24 months.
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.)
We currently have a band 8a clinical/counselling psychologist post available within West Dunbartonshire Primary Care Mental Health Team. This post can be filled by a clinical or counselling psychologist. Part time and flexible working arrangements are available.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative clinical/counselling psychologist to be part of a busy, cohesive and friendly psychology service within West Dunbartonshire. You will have responsibility for the delivery of specialist psychological assessment, high intensity/ highly specialist individual and group therapies, and supervision of qualified staff and psychologists in training. We also have an ongoing programme of Quality Improvement which you would have a role in expanding via service development projects.
You will be supported to pursue your own professional interests through continued professional development and be part of a supportive, professional network of psychologists working across North West Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire. Candidates will have a Doctoral level (or equivalent) professional qualification in Clinical Psychology and should be eligible for registration with the HCPC.
