We're seeking a Health and Safety Content Specialist to join our Production team on a freelance basis, with the potential for full-time employment as we continue to experience exciting growth. Job Overview: We are looking for a highly organised Health and Safety Specialist with a NEBOSH General Certificate to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our online training courses are accurate, compliant with the latest legislation, and up-to-date with industry best practices. While you do not need to be an expert in any specific subject area, you must have the ability to quickly research and understand new regulations, and effectively communicate these changes to our production team. Key Responsibilities: Content Update Management: Monitor, track, and interpret updates in health and safety legislation, as well as changes within social care. Legislative Compliance: Ensure all relevant online courses are aligned with the latest legal requirements and industry guidelines. Support the Production Team: Collaborate with content creators, scriptwriters, and instructional designers to update or amend courses based on regulatory changes. Research and Analysis: Identify reliable sources for legislative updates and changes, ensuring comprehensive and accurate course material revisions. Quality Control: Review course updates to ensure that they are clearly presented and easy to understand for learners, while maintaining high-quality educational standards. Qualifications & Skills: NEBOSH General Certificate ( Essential ). Knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and interpret legislation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills to convey complex information in simple terms. Previous experience in e-learning, instructional design, or content creation is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with social care sector regulations would be advantageous. Rates are negotiable based on experience.
