SEN Teaching Assistant:
In this highly rewarding SEN Teaching Assistant role you would be working a student on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis across their school day, working with class teachers and the SENDCo to ensure pupils make expected progress within an engaging and safe learning environment.
This welcoming SEN school is the perfect surrounding to build up your classroom skills and knowledge each SEN Teaching Assistant goes through an induction programme and constant training.
SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:
Work across a thriving SEN school
Support students with an ASC / autism diagnosis
Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
Collaborate with experienced teachers and other LSAs
SEN Teaching Assistant – Qualifications required:
Level 3 TA or degree level of education
Education / childcare experience is required
Previous SEN / ASC experience is desirable
Calm, compassionate and proactive manner
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
