Working side by side with our customers both on-siteand remotely to assist at every step of an exail product integration andoperation. This unique position ensures hands-on experience with the full rangeof exail products.
Proudly providing 24/7 support to our customers, thisis a unique and varied role, offshore industry focused but also working acrossthe full civil, scientific and military spectrum of applications, this is agenuinely varied and unusual role that will suite someone looking for variety,challenge and with a sense of adventure.
Based in the Aberdeen office, applyand become our next CustomerSupport Engineer.
Your duties and responsibilities :
1. Represent Exail to customers both internally and externally.
2. Remote support to customer:
3. Follow-up and respond all hot-line, hot-mail, and customer requests.
4. Document, analyze, report, resolve and record customer claims on the database.
5. On-site support to customer:
o Pre-survey, installation, commissioning, training, demo,technical assistance.
o In-situ maintenance& service operations.
o Prepare, execute, feedback, debrief, report, andfollow up.
6. Within EMEA geographical zone and occasionally outside.
7. Internal support:
8. Interact with all Exail teams to move forward your support cases.
9. Assist sales team and project teams on pre-sale and after sales activities.
10. Link with the maintenance team for maintenance follow up.
11. Link with product teams for continuous knowledge and experience improvement
12. Team work:
13. Go through continuous internal as well as self-directed training on all related products.
14. Own and continuously improve back-office support procedures and tools.
15. Share and get knowledge, develop skills, with the team.
Travel : 30% of thetime, up to days/year.
Profile
· Bachelorsdegree/HND in engineering (electronic, robotics,mechanical, marine science)
· Or 3+year experience, working with high technology products.
· Ideallyrelevant experience working with inertial navigation, acoustic positioning,sonar systems, or the ability to grow experience on those technologies.
· Service-orientedattitude and results-oriented culture to provide customer satisfaction.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Resourceful in front of customers.
· Self-motivated, technically curious, ability tothink and work independently.
· Exceptionalcommunication: verbal and written.
· Multi-culturalawareness and experience.
· FluentEnglish required.
