Audit and Accounts Manager

We are currently recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join our client based in their Exeter branch.
What you'll be doing:
* Assist the Senior Management team and Directors in delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation
* 50% Audit / 50% Accounts including Charity and Not for Profit Sector
* Management and delivery of audit / accounts assignments
* Oversight of workflow and management of team
* Taking lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion
* Review audit files ahead of Director review
* Reviewing and preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations including support analysis
* Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance
* Delivering information and communicating with clients in a timely and effective manner
* Assisting with senior management team / Partners
* Building and sustaining key relationships with clients
* Ad-hoc project work
About You:
* ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience
* Experience as a manager or overseeing a small team
* Able to multitask and prioritise
* Work under pressure to tight and conflicting deadlines
* Experience managing audit assignments
* Commercial awareness
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (desirable)
