Role Overview
This Sales and Ticketing Manager is crucial to the smooth running of the Sales and Ticketing team and maximising ticket revenue. You will be an ambassador for The Rep and represent the company mission, vision and values in every customer interaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the Sales and Ticketing Manager in the dynamic running of the Rep’s busy Box Office team.
• Deputise for the Sales and Ticketing Manager as required
• With the Sales and Ticketing Manager, set up events on our CRM system, Spektrix ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
• Support the Sales and Ticketing Managers in Data and CRM management, ensuring best practice and GDPR compliance.
• Be the main Sales and Ticketing team’s point of contact for the Rep’s Access Register and Access performances.
• Assist when needed with setting rotas for the Sales and Ticketing team ensuring all activity and events are supported
• With the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager, develop and lead the implementation of a Groups’ sales strategy
• With the Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager and Sales and Ticketing Manager liaise regularly regarding dynamic pricing on events and implementing pricing changes in a timely manner
• Be the senior lead contact for Schools’ bookings
• Be responsible for setting up sales reports for Team Rep, co-producers and visiting companies
• Deliver proactive campaigns for Marketing and Fundraising where appropriate
• Ensure Sales and Ticketing Assistants upsell and maximise secondary income and Rep fundraising revenue and memberships in all customer transactions
• Create promotional and offer codes to support Marketing campaigns
• Assist with managing the Sales and Ticketing team members on a daily basis, supporting with customer queries, training of new staff and monitoring performance
• Work with the Creative Learning team to book in groups to facilitate Rep community engagement.
• Be responsible for FOH print display, ensuring public areas are kept up to date and tidy
• Be a contact for The Rep Company Manager and visiting Company Managers regarding Company tickets
• Communicate Staff Ticket offers to Rep personnel, volunteers and company members.
Specific Responsibilities
• Maximise opportunities to promote and sell all events, services and activities to potential customers
• Provide an effective sales and information service to all potential bookers, ensuring all queries and feedback are recorded and dealt with appropriately
• Ensure familiarity with all activities within the building, including events, prices, discounts, promotions, memberships and schemes.
• Be an active presence on the Ticket Desk to engage with potential bookers and customers in selling tickets, memberships and any other activities
• Accurately record all sales, patron, membership and fundraising data and internal diary entries and bookings on the appropriate systems, adopting company procedures and protocols and maintaining a programme of regular housekeeping
• Ensure our audiences’ requirements are delivered and ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times
• Communicate and assist, as necessary with all other key personnel within the Sales and Ticketing team (and wider teams as appropriate), to ensure the smooth running of all Rep events.

• Ensure you and your team are fully compliant with all mandatory training and development
• Be aware of, and comply with, rules and legislation pertaining to Health & Safety at work and abide by the procedures set out in the Health & Safety Policy.
• Take ownership for the safety of the working environment for your teams by being fully complaint with the Health and Safety policies, rules and training for yourself and your team members including casual and freelancer staff.
• Be aware of, and comply with, rules and legislation pertaining to data security, and GDPR, at work and abide by the procedures set out in the Data Protection Policy.
• All staff are expected to demonstrate an understanding of, and adherence to, our safeguarding policy, including a duty to report any issues of concern.
• As a manager in a customer-facing team, you would have a role in supporting staff who have concerns about the safety of vulnerable people, and ensuring that appropriate reports are made in accordance with Safeguarding Procedures.
