People Partner Location: London Job Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Working Patterns: Hybrid - 2 days working from home Salary: £43,275 per annum My client are seeking a People Partner to support their stakeholders in implementing and integrating HR initiatives in line with best practices, internal policies, and legal requirements. This role is crucial for leveraging HR expertise to provide valuable guidance, ensuring all people matters are addressed effectively and driving continuous improvement across the organisation. Day-to-day of the role: Provide generalist people advice to staff, managers, and directors, building effective relationships within the departments. Offer employee relations advice in line with organisational policies and procedures. Support departmental changes, providing guidance on best practices and legal implications with support from legal advisors or senior P&C team members. Ensure timely completion of occupational health referrals, assessments, and manage statutory obligations related to family-friendly and flexible working requests. Collaborate with the P&C team to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate HR services including contract management, payroll processing, and benefits administration. Assist with the drafting and updating of employee-related P&C policies and procedures. Remain up-to-date with employment law, applying updates to policies and procedures as necessary. Required Skills & Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in providing generalist HR advice and employee relations guidance within a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting internal payroll teams and managing payroll processes. Strong experience in drafting employment policies and managing employee communications. Proficient in using people systems, ideally iTrent, and extracting data to inform decision-making. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and its application. CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including pivot tables and Vlookups), and ideally Visio.
