This is an exciting opportunity to join the 7 North team as a band 6 Junior Charge Nurse/Sister.
7 North is predominately a Colorectal ward but also encompasses lots of surgical specialties and includes the newly created Surgical Assessment Unit. 7 North provides lots of opportunities for training and development alongside a supportive and friendly team.
The post holder will be a skilled and experienced member of the nursing team. You will be expected to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate a high standard of care to patients and their families, according to our world class values and in accordance with agreed policies and within available resources. You will be required to supervise and teach junior nursing staff as appropriate within 7 North. You will be given opportunity and expected to support the Senior Charge Nurse in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the department as well as being a key resource for departmental staff and wider MDT members.
