Description
This role will be focused on working in a small team to deliver features and improvements for our customers and prospects. This would include reviewing the features requested by stakeholders and breaking these down into smaller deliverables. As well as implementing features, working alongside the products team to ensure that the features are built to satisfy the client’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop features across the full stack of the application, including the database, web services and front end.
* Lead a small squad of developers and QA to deliver features to a high quality.
* Review features provided by stakeholders, suggesting any changes and validate feasibility.
* Assist and provide guidance to the sales team to enable new sales.
* Work with the support team to resolve issues with customers.
* Actively suggest improvements to working practices and processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experienced in C# and .NET
* Comfortable with SQL Server, database design, development and optimisation.
* Experienced with the Angular framework and related web technologies such as HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
* Being able to work with Web API web services.
* Awareness of security issues, guidelines (OWASP) and mitigations of those issues.
* Appetite to learn and improve, keeping on top of new technology developments.
Desirable Skills/Experience
* Ability to lead small teams to deliver functionality to a deadline.
* Experience working with and migrating large legacy systems.
* Experience of Azure Pipelines and MSBuild.
* Experience working with ASP.NET MVC.
* Knowledge of WCF Services.
* Experience in WinForms/WPF.
* Understanding of web accessibility and considerations around responsive web applications.
* Understanding of localisation issues when developing for multiple markets around the world.
