RAC are recruiting for a Tactical Rostering Manager, based in Bescot Office, Walsall.
As a Tactical Rostering Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Tactical Rostering Team within the Forecasting and Planning function.
You will work closely with the Demand Forecasting and Resource Planning Team to deliver the medium and short-term hours requirement for Operations Contact Centre and Roadside Operations, as well as post the annual roster build outputs.
This is a Full-Time, permanent position, Hybrid working 2days in office and 3days remote.
35 Hours per week, Monday – Friday between 8am – 6pm. During probation period additional office days may be required and requested.

What you'll do...
10. Delivery monthly rosters check POU versus budgets, compliance, constraints and published within agreed timelines.
11. Know and efficiently use your levers of opportunity to flex hours both up and down to gain fit to resourcing requirements to balance service and costs.
12. Ongoing review of hours deployment to minimise wastage, optimise downtime management v budget and ensure adherence to contract type is optimised in line with trading requirements.
13. Identify trends and root causes of resourcing gaps and opportunities by geographical areas working with the Analyst team.
14. Work with the various stakeholders across the business to ensure clear communication & clarity of resource requirements and plans are undertaken
15. Maintain regular contact with all operational teams building a good relationship supporting offering and receiving support.
16. Engagement with colleagues across the Forecast and Planning team. One team approach.
17. Work with the Head of Resourcing to review current working arrangements / incentive opportunities for patrols & call centre /deployment centre colleagues, to assess the suitability for both the individual and business efficiency – working with Planning, Analysis Team, Operational teams, and HR.
18. Create recommendations to improve working arrangements which fulfil the balance between working conditions and efficiency.
19. Working with the analyst team identify overtime trends by geographical area and provide solutions for the delivery of the required resource levels.
20. Co-ordinate the Summer /Winter planning process with the relevant Operational Team, alongside supporting trading challenges / war rooms and hours visibility as required.
