Job Title: Receptionist/Customer Liaison Officer
Location: BB2 7LF
Pay: £12.10- 13.20 per hour (dependant on area)
Hours: 8-hour day, shifts ranging between 07:00 - 17:30, 42 hours a week as only work 0700-1300 on Friday
Potential Start Date: Monday, 3rd March
Job Description:
* We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist/Customer Liaison Officer to join our team in BB2. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
* Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
* Manage appointment schedules and coordinate meetings.
* Handle inquiries and provide information about our services.
* Travel between sites as required (must have a valid driver’s license).
* Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and mail distribution.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated ability to contribute as a team member and deliver quality customer service
* Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines
* Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) practices and policies
* Proven high level of customer service
* Adequate interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with customers and staff at all levels in both written and spoken English
* Desirable but not essential: previous knowledge of Skype and Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Computer proficiency
* Ability to work independently if needed
* Desirable: At least 2 years of experience in a training or customer service role
* Desirable: Previous knowledge of desk booking systems
* Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel between sites.
