The Client -
A global investment management organisation, that is well regarded and is currently looking to bring in a company secretary to join their team.
The Role -
1. Act as the Company Secretary for a portfolio of investment trusts, delivering comprehensive support including strategic planning, preparation of board materials, attending meetings, conducting board evaluations, drafting minutes, and preparing/releasing regulatory announcements.
2. Maintain a robust governance framework for the investment trusts, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and alignment with client board expectations.
3. Provide governance advice to the boards of the investment trusts, ensuring practices meet established standards and adhere to group-wide governance principles.
4. Organise and manage shareholder meetings for the investment trusts in collaboration with internal teams, including overseeing proxy voting processes and coordinating with voting agencies.
