Job Description Overview We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to join our long-established small group of homes based in and around the West Sussex area. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential care homes, ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents. Responsibilities Manage the overall operation of the care home, including staff management, resident care, and regulatory compliance Develop and implement care plans and ensure they are followed by the care team Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals Monitor and manage the home's budget and resources Qualifications Proven experience as a Home Manager in a residential care setting Strong leadership and management skills Excellent understanding of care regulations and standards Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Relevant qualifications in health and social care management Day-to-day The day-to-day responsibilities will include managing staff, overseeing resident care, liaising with external stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth operation of the care home.
