Key Responsibilities
As a Land Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding and interpreting safety and engineering risks. You will manage safety artefacts, including safety management plans, hazard logs, and safety case reports at platform or system level. Your role will also involve delivering safety, technical evaluation, and certification artefacts.
Key Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in the Defence market and experience providing technical analysis of designs and processes to develop safety strategies. You will also need to have knowledge and awareness of safety standards, such as Defence Standard 00-056, and experience generating Safety Assessment Reports and developing proposals. Additionally, you will need to have a working knowledge of safety regulations, including the Defence Safety Authority suite, and be professionally registered at IEng or working towards it.
