We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to work for an equipment manufacturer in Bolton.
Our client designs and manufactures material handling and processing equipment for the food manufacturing market.
This is a full-time office-based role in Bolton. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to clients, communicating effectively with customers, and using their engineering skills to drive sales. This includes demonstrating to potential customers the value of buying our equipment and how it will improve plant performance.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
1. Receiving enquiries, equipment design proposition, and quote offer to customers.
2. Undertake detailed diligence on enquiries; liaise with customers.
3. Follow up all quotations; support, guide, and assist customers.
4. Advise customers on how best to use our equipment.
5. Collaborate with design, production, and engineering teams.
Person Requirements:
1. Working knowledge of engineering mathematics and practical engineering.
2. Engineering Qualification.
3. A solid technical background.
4. Sound judgement and good business sense.
