A Vacancy at East of England Ambulance Service Trust.
This is a key role providing business support to the Deputy Director of People Services, including supporting the delivery, prioritisation and reporting of projects identified as part of overall programmes aligned to the Trust’s Improvement Programmes.
This role will be reporting to, and supported by, the Director of People Services, and also supporting the delivery of projects aligned to the Trust’s Improvement Programmes.
The post holder will need to be conscientious, meticulously organised, and always act in a professional and confidential manner.
The post holder should have experience of working in an HR Department and have wider understanding of the HR functions.
The post is critical in providing an intermediary role between the Deputy Director and their Management Team, to uphold communication and aid efficiencies, and ensuring best possible use of the Deputy Director’s time.
This post calls for a highly motivated individual who can use their own initiative, work to set deadlines, deal with complex issues and is comfortable working under pressure.
The role is central to all Trust Improvement Programmes and will require diligence and attention to detail to manage the complex and varied workload aligned to the plan.
• Support the management, planning and delivery of a range of Trust-wide projects, as directed by the Deputy Director of People Services.
• Supporting the delivery of implementation plans for specific projects, in conjunction with key colleagues/stakeholders, to ensure maximum synergy within the Organisation during each project, and using a consistent project management approach.
• To provide full and comprehensive administrative support for each project, as required.
• Set up and coordinate regular meetings to oversee project implementation ensuring that progress and actions are clearly identified and completed.
• Attend any meetings related to project work as appropriate, to share and exchange information and best practice and take detailed minutes of meetings, as required.
• A requirement for travel to other Trust sites and external venues to attend meetings and/or deliver relevant training, as required.
• Act as the point of contact for enquiries in relation to specific projects, as required.
• Monitor progress of projects, and prioritise workload to meet targets, as required.
