What you'll be doing You will support Hachette Learning in its digital transformation, by developing engaging and impactful digital educational content across multiple subject disciplines at primary, secondary and further education levels, aimed at UK and international markets. You will manage external writers, subject matter experts and/or editorial vendors, and collaborate closely with internal colleagues in Product Development, Product Delivery, Product Management and other stakeholders. The role involves briefing requirements for the content and supervising quality of draft and final submissions to ensure effective pedagogical approach and content structure. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing content for digital-first educational products. You will have a good understanding of digital learning principles and pedagogical approaches and knowledge of digital learning platforms. You will have experience developing content to maximise learning outcomes, feature possibilities and account for technical limitations. You will have an ability to adapt and enhance passive content into interactive formats, including adaptive learning, videos, audio, animated and gamified resources. Other key skills include: Confidence in managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, within commercial budgets and on strict time schedules, with a calm and problem-solving approach Strong communication skills, including briefing, managing and coaching writers and freelancers, and collaborating with internal colleagues Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including subject matter experts, technical teams, content/editorial/marketing teams and external suppliers.
