An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller to join our Housing Partnerships NW team based in Bolton.The main purpose of the role is toset up, manage and maintain Electronic Data Management Systems in line with company, customer and project documentation requirements. Benefits: Competitive Salary / 25 Days Holidays / Pension Scheme / Free Parking / Private Health Care / Professional Development & Training Opportunities / Free Wellbeing Initiatives such as eye care vouchers, occupational health, employee assistance programme / Ministry of Fun / Flexible Working / Online Retailer Discounts (Seddon Smartspending) What youll do: To manage the Electronic Data Management Systems for storing, controlling, and distributing information on Seddon projects such as Asite, R Drive, Propellor, Pas Hub (this list is not exclusive) Create projects on the EDMS including reports associated Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents are distributed accordingly Organise, manage and file project documents and drawings in conjunction with project and corporate naming and numbering procedure Check that all information complies with specified company formats, templates and standards Assist with quality checks and audits of systems, identifying and correcting any anomalies General document control activities such as quality checking of metadata and documents Carry out routine document management administrative tasks including publishing, technical query handling, transmittals, filing etc. Ensure project team compliance with systems Act as focal point for all team document management matters Provide training for all stakeholders Writing protocols, and training guides for all stakeholders General administration duties to support the business unit in delivering business continuity toward achieving the business plan Have you got what it takes: Be able to work as a multidisciplinary team, establishing good working relationships at all levels Communicate and exchange information in a tactful and diplomatic manner Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal Demonstrate strong time management skills Exchange information in a tactful and diplomatic manner Work independently and act on own initiative, (proactive and forward thinking) Must have the ability to complete multiple tasks and projects on time and to a high standard, working to tight deadlines and under pressure Must be able to travel between locations (office/site) Understand the organisations aims and objectives Show a willingness to be flexible Must have experience of document management and data administration systems A good problem solving attitude with eye for detail Must have Full UK Driving Licence ADZN1_UKTJ
