Role Overview
As an HR Advisor, you'll take the lead on managing casework, providing expert HR guidance, and ensuring top-notch employment practices across the board. Key responsibilities include:
* Case Management: Own and coordinate HR casework with a focus on employment relations, absence management, and safeguarding.
* Change & Project Support: Work closely with senior leaders on organisational change projects, including TUPE transfers, and risk assessment.
* Employee Wellbeing: Partner with occupational health services to support absence and ill-health cases.
* Compliance & Legal: Be the HR go-to for legal processes like tribunals and ACAS, and ensure compliance with employment law.
* Manager Training: Develop and deliver training to empower managers with HR knowledge and skills.
* Data-Driven Insight: Use HR analytics to identify trends, recommend improvements, and enhance organisational effectiveness.
Skills and Experience
* Significant HR experience, including managing employment relations and organisational change.
* CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) demonstrating your HR expertise.
* A sharp eye for compliance and legal risks, with the ability to balance business needs and best practices.
* Experience with HR databases and case management systems to keep everything running smoothly.
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication and coaching skills.
