Bell Cornwall Recruitment’s client is a manufacturer based in Cannock, who produce goods which are shipped nationally. They are the industry leader in their field. They are seeking an experienced Credit Control Team Leader, who has experience in managing people, as well as strong competence in day to day credit control activities. This role will be based full time from their Office in Cannock in order to effectively manage people face to face.
The Role:
* Leading the Credit Control team, ensuring they remain productive by overseeing and delivering required training
* Implement and maintain policies and procedures
* Review and assess credit assessments, effectively managing risk
* Overseeing the preparation of final notice letters, and legal actions when required
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to credit matters eg cash flow or significant outstanding debt
* Ensure all team members are supported, with development plans and engaging in regular 1-2-1s
The Ideal Credit Control Team Leader will have:
* Proven experience in Credit Control, with supervisory/management/leadership experience (required)
* CICM (Chartered Institute of Credit Management) or similar qualification highly desirable
* Leadership and mentoring skills, including confidence providing training
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail, demonstrated in experience producing reports
* Experience in credit risk assessment and fraud prevention
