Job Title: Registered Nurse – Neurological Care Centre
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Full time

The medium-sized residential care service provides exciting opportunities for professional growth and development in areas such as complex disabilities, high-dependency care, and slow-stream rehabilitation. Additionally, the small rehabilitation unit allows for innovative working practices.
Successful candidates will work closely with an in-house multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to support goal setting and achieve optimal outcomes for all clients. The organization’s assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals utilize expert neurorehabilitation techniques to enhance the quality of life for individuals with neurological conditions or brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support, leadership, recognition, and supervision to team members as appropriate.
* Demonstrate tasks to less experienced colleagues and supervise their daily work.
* Support education, training, and guidance for carers, colleagues, and students.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized clinical care using evidence-based guidelines.
* Ensure the care team delivers care in line with evidence-based care plans, organizing the admission and discharge of service users, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with corporate policies and NMC guidelines.
* Involve service users (or their families/carers) in the care planning and review process.
* Manage service users’ care during shifts, ensuring continuity through effective communication with medical and nursing staff.
* Uphold all organizational policies and procedures.
* Maintain a safe working environment, ensure service user confidentiality, and undertake additional reasonable tasks as required.
* NMC Registered Nurse.
* Completion of NMC Standards for Student Supervision and/or Assessment, or willingness to complete training.
* Evidence of continued professional development.

Location:
The position is commutable from Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Clacton-On-Sea, Debenham, Colchester and Sudbury but also easily commutable from Suffolk and Essex.
