About the role
We wouldn’t be able to positively impact the way the world shops without our passionate team members - who keep our business running, our operations optimised, and our customers happy. To support this, we now have an opportunity for a Senior Planner to join the team.
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for using tooling provided to maintain data reporting and produce data-led actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders in the Logistics area. You will play a key role in planning and forecasting, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
As a Senior Planner, you will:
* Prepare mid-to-long-term future plans in line with forecasted demand targets and available capacities.
* Monitor and track sales predictions and assess how operational constraints are affecting them.
* Provide reporting and data-based decision-making support to various stakeholders in Logistics and other business areas.
* Drive the improvement of selected KPIs through analysis of trends and root cause analysis.
* Contribute to key cross-departmental projects, presenting results to relevant stakeholders.
* Coordinate resources between various Planning functions.
* Fulfil operational requests from different stakeholders.
* Occasionally visit different Customer Fulfillment Centre sites across the UK.
About you – Requirements to be considered:
* Excellent communication skills as the role includes daily interaction with Logistics management and other internal/external customers.
* Proven experience as a Planner, ideally within a logistics function.
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills (essential).
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (essential).
* Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; preferred experience with QGIS, VBA, SQL.
* Ability to work quickly and accurately while organizing workloads to meet deadlines.
* Commercially savvy with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to collaborate with other departments in operationally critical activities (essential).
