Overview
Ignition Collective is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Account Executive - Events to join our dynamic Events team supporting two global brands in motorsport and entertainment events. This role is integral to supporting the execution of exceptional events and experiences that align with our clients' marketing objectives. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Account Manager - Events and will play a key role in the day-to-day support of various events and hospitality programmes across the agency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Senior Account Manager – Events in all aspects of delivery for in-scope and out of scope events and experiences agency-wide.
2. Assist the events team in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, athletes and partners with the timely management of tasks.
3. Support the planning, coordination, and execution stages of client events from concept through to on-site delivery, ensuring operational excellence throughout the process.
4. Help event promotion and marketing initiatives to maximise attendance and enhance guest engagement, collaborating closely with the marketing and communications teams.
5. Contribute to the timely logging of costs and event budgets and assist in managing documentation, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
6. Aid in the management of day-to-day operations related to events, including working to agency standard operating procedures for passes, ticketing, merchandise fulfilment and logistics.
7. Gather and analyse guest feedback and operational metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement and actionable insights.
8. Help coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations and logistics for guests and team members involved in event execution, ensuring a seamless operational flow.
9. Produce event related documents for each project including schedules, decks, letters etc.
10. Assist in the creation of reports and ROI documents for client review, showcasing the impact of events and identifying areas for optimisation.
Key Skills & Experience Required
Experience
1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in events, hospitality, catering or a similar role, preferably within the motorsport, sport or entertainment industries.
2. Experience working in a professional environment.
3. Professional approach with attention to detail.
Skills
1. Quick-thinking and resourceful.
2. A proactive self-starter with a passion for events.
3. Organised with a ‘can do’ approach to assist in helping in lots of different areas of the event management process.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Willingness to travel and adapt to varying working hours, including occasional weekends and peak event periods.
