Starrycare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is prioritized.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
2. Support individuals with mobility and help them maintain independence where possible.
3. Monitor patients’ health by checking vital signs and reporting any concerns to the nursing team.
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
5. Assist with daily activities to promote a safe and comfortable environment.
6. Maintain accurate records of care provided.
7. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
8. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered care.
Requirements
1. Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
2. Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) are advantageous.
3. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
6. Flexibility to adapt to the needs of patients and the care environment.
