Salary: £24,184 to £26,500 per annum based on 35 hours per week pro rata

Join our team at the British Red Cross and become a pivotal force in connecting human kindness with human crisis. As a key player in our Learning and Development (L&D) team, you'll ensure the highest quality of digital learning content, manage digital learning platform requests, and support vital programmes that empower vulnerable communities to withstand and recover from emergencies. Your role will involve meticulous quality checks, creative collaboration on learner guidance, and seamless system scheduling to make learning accessible for all. You'll be the backbone of our central L&D operations, providing high quality customer service and driving engagement through innovative campaigns.
What will a day in the life of a Learning and Operations Specialist involve? You'll be:
* Ensuring the highest quality of digital learning content through meticulous quality checks and feedback.
* Managing and tracking digital learning platform requests to keep projects on course and stakeholders informed.
* Providing top-notch customer service, resolving queries and troubleshooting issues with a smile.
* Supporting the planning, scheduling, and booking of central L&D programs and campaigns.
* Driving learning engagement and self-serve resources through innovative communication efforts.
* Analysing learner data to continually enhance the effectiveness of our learning and development offerings.
What will you need to be a successful Learning and Operations Specialist?
* Extensive knowledge of customer service best practices, ensuring high standards in all learner interactions.
* Proficiency in digital learning standards and best practices to maintain high-quality digital content.
* High level of IT literacy, with the ability to navigate technical issues and problem-solve efficiently.
* Capability to identify issues and risks, escalating as required to maintain smooth operations.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret and generate insights from various data sources.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and explore solutions.
* Experience of creating engaging communications to build awareness and visibility of the central learning offer.
* Proven experience in admin roles within People Operations, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
* Track record in customer support and inbox management, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and accurately.
