Site & Building Supervisor
Start date: July 2025
Position: Permanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week, Whole Year
Salary: Grade 8 - £32,654 - £37,035 per annum
John Taylor MAT is seeking an experienced, flexible, and committed individual to join its newest school, Rugeley John Taylor, which will serve local communities from the ground up, offering a comprehensive learning experience from early years to sixth form.
This new school, opening with Year 7 in September 2025, features a modern Building Management System. The role requires managing and monitoring this system alongside traditional site management duties. This is a unique opportunity to oversee a new building and be part of the founding staff team.
You may be ideal for this role if you have:
1. Experience in a similar role with an understanding of buildings and facilities management and maintenance
2. Ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders
4. Willingness to undertake training and learn the building systems
5. Skills to line manage others and motivate staff
6. A proactive approach to evolving responsibilities
