Commercial Litigation – Edinburgh (Assignment 16140)
Our client, an independent Commercial Law Firm in Scotland, is currently recruiting for a Senior Lawyer to join its highly-ranked Dispute Resolution Team in Edinburgh. The team manages a diverse range of commercial litigation transactions, including real estate litigation, Court of Session and Sheriff Court litigation, Planning Inquiries, Mediations, Lands Tribunal, and Land Court cases.
This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including:
1. Representing clients in all relevant Court, Tribunal, and other appearances, including instructing Counsel when necessary.
2. Drafting court and tribunal pleadings as needed.
3. Assisting Dispute Resolution Partners with supervising and managing less experienced team members, including trainees.
The ideal candidate will have between 4-6 years’ PQE with a strong background in litigation. Previous experience of managing cases in the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session is desirable. Hybrid working options are available.
Associate, Insurance – Edinburgh (Assignment 16258)
Our client, a global Law Firm specialising in disputes, insurance, and advisory services, is currently recruiting multiple Lawyers to join its growing Insurance Team in Edinburgh. The team provides a range of specialist legal services in litigation, particularly in defending insurance and liability claims.
You will be involved in defending claims against various legal professionals, including accountants, architects, and insurance brokers. Experience in a client-facing role is advantageous.
The team is keen to speak with individuals from newly qualified up to 6 years’ PQE, ideally with a strong background in litigation, especially in insurance or commercial litigation. However, applicants with general litigation experience and a genuine interest in the insurance sector are also encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time position offering flexible working arrangements and significant opportunities for career growth. The firm is also open to candidates seeking part-time work (4 days).
Insurance, Financial and Professional Disputes Team – Edinburgh / Glasgow (Assignment 16282)
Due to ongoing growth, this established global law firm is currently seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join its Insurance, Financial, and Professional Disputes team. The professional liability team handles all aspects of professional liability claims and dispute resolution.
The team is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2+ years’ PQE and a strong background in commercial litigation and commercial disputes. Experience in insurance matters is also beneficial. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage claims for a wide range of professionals, with a particular interest in construction within personal injury law.
Key responsibilities include:
4. Managing a caseload in compliance with service level agreements with insurers.
5. Assisting in the defence of high-value and complex claims.
6. Performing advocacy in the Sheriff Court.

Senior Employment – Glasgow/Hybrid (Assignment 16112)
This specialist litigation firm is currently recruiting an Associate/Senior Associate to join its busy Employment Team in Glasgow. The team has expertise in all areas of employment law, advising both employees and employers.
The successful candidate can expect to represent claimant and respondent clients in Employment Tribunal cases. Your key tasks will include:
7. Responsibility for all Employment Tribunal proceedings, including, taking witness statements, drafting pleadings, and appearances at the Employment Tribunal.
8. Managing a diverse caseload of contentious employment work.
9. Responsibility for all client communications.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with employment law experience and the ability to work autonomously. This is a full-time role with hybrid working options available.
Litigation/Dispute Resolution Solicitor – Glasgow (Assignment 15517)
We are delighted to have been instructed on this new senior litigation role with our client, an established law firm based in Glasgow with expertise in areas such as employment law, litigation, family law, personal injury claims and private client. Due to firm growth, there is currently a need for an experienced lawyer to join its busy practice in Central Glasgow and with clear partnership prospects.
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of litigation/disputes including debt recovery, contract disputes, property disputes, executries/wills disputes and professional negligence.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5+ years PQE with a strong background in litigation; previous experience of handling complex disputes is required as well as the ability to handle a large and varied caseload. This is a full-time position however, candidates seeking part-time work (4 days) are also encouraged to apply.
In-house Litigation Solicitor – Kilmarnock (Assignment 15597)
We have been instructed on this unique in-house role with our client with our client, a highly regarded organisation specialising in debt and consumer arrears. There is currently a need for a qualified solicitor to join its busy Legal team on a full-time basis in Ayrshire.
The post-holder can expect to be involved in a range of litigation matters including managing cases of complex disputes, mitigate costs and protecting the reputation of the company. You can also expect to work closely with other stakeholders within the business, as well as customers, legal representatives and third parties of all stages of the litigation process, ensuring positive outcomes through negotiation.
The team is keen to hear from those with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE, and candidate must have some experience in debt recovery or civil litigation. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to move in-house; the team also supports hybrid working with an expectation of 3 days office presence per week.
