About the Role:
This role is based in the stability team within the QC dept. The main area of focus is to perform and complete analytical testing to GMP/departmental standards, ensuring testing is complete within the allocated time as stated in departmental DI. Other duties include, but are not limited to, data interpretation of results and completion of analytical records as per GMP requirements. Assessing results for atypical/out of specification and raising LIRs when required, assisting, and cooperating with Phase 1/Phase 2 investigations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* To perform formal Stability testing to the required departmental standard as and when requested by line management.
* To check for transfer errors on the computer and notebooks of storage Stability results, ensuring results are in specification and trend with previous timepoints or batches.
* Highlight any issues including OOT/OOS and assist in investigations on new results, ensuring results are in specification and trend with previous time points or batches.
* Prepare samples and associated paperwork for external microbiological challenge testing and internal microbiological testing.
* Assist in the monitoring of the storage stability rooms, cabinets, and fridges when required.
* Create storage stability studies as requested.
* Proactively support the 6S program within the department.
* To carry out any other work as may be reasonably requested.
* To carry out the work required in an efficient, effective, and safe manner towards the performance targets of the team.
* Ensure activities and changes to equipment and working practices are made in line with guidelines laid out in the ‘Orange Guide’.
* Ensure all improvement opportunities are in line with ISO standards. Ensure all manufacturing operations are defined and documented to ensure optimum performance.
* Work to an agreed program of priorities. Provide regular feedback and progress reports. Proactively manage resources to ensure deadlines are met.

* BSc in Chemistry (or related science-based qualification)
* Strong laboratory experience
