About the role
This is an exciting opportunity unlike other support roles; with Turning Point Scotland, no two days are the same!
Our role will include:
* Helping to provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.
* Supporting individuals within the community and engaging with their hobbies and interests, empowering individuals to develop skills and independence, promoting their overall growth.
* Attending various community groups and accompanying our service users to activities they are passionate about, from taking a trip to the cinema, enjoying a morning swim, or attending local groups or community projects, and accompanying them on holidays and trips away.
* Assisting with personal care, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
* Celebrating achievements and milestones, both big and small, to create a rewarding and positive environment.
About You
No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided. We believe having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity is essential to join our team!
You will have a genuine commitment to using your skills to support people to live their best lives. You will be supported by an incredibly approachable management team, allowing you to expand on your existing knowledge while developing new skills. You will have flexibility to work on a rota.

Turning Point Scotland's Angus service provides support to individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and autism, in their own homes, living in the community, and supporting them with everyday opportunities that promote independence and choice.
We strive to enable people to access everyday life experiences, including education, employment/volunteering, and social activities. We also provide support with developing relationships and maintaining a home. We work in partnership with health teams, social work teams, community justice teams, police, and advocacy.
