About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a new role within the Exam Production team in Assessment Development and Delivery (ADD). The Copyright and Design Associate is primarily responsible for managing the implementation, day-to-day management, and ongoing training and advice related to ADD's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
The post holder will ensure that all digital assets used in assessment production are appropriately organized through meta-tagging and able to be quickly identified and used during production, supporting colleagues where needed. To support this data management, the Copyright and Design Associate will also support the copyright clearance process (permission for ad hoc higher-risk third-party material, maintenance of rights management data), and support the Design Team in managing the budget for, and obtaining, multi-media assets such as voice-over artists, actors, and videos.
The role requires a high level of detail, organizational skills, and a proactive and agile mindset to work across teams and provide support as and when needed. The role works collaboratively with internal staff across the organization, particularly Subject Management and Curriculum Management.
Key Responsibilities
* The day-to-day management of all digital assets in the DAM system.
* Provide training and guidance to colleagues on how to correctly use the DAM system.
* Manage and maintain accurate metadata tagging in the DAM system so that digital assets can be quickly identified and used in assessment production.
* Manage and respond to queries related to the DAM system, design and exam production, and copyright.
* Support the Design Team in managing the budget for, and obtaining, multi-media assets such as videos, voice-over artists, and actors.
* Support the Associate Manager, Copyright in responding to queries, assisting with the ad hoc copyright clearance process, maintenance of rights management data, and provision of training and guidance to internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
* Manage IB relationships within and across departments including close liaison with EP colleagues, Subject Managers, and Curriculum Managers.
* Contribute to production changes to improve efficiency of copyright and design processes.
* Support the design, copyright, and wider exam publishing processes in the development of personal, operational, departmental, and organizational changes.

Essential
* Proven project management experience of working within a relevant professional environment.
* Advanced software for MS Office and Publishing.
* Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite software.
* An exceptional eye for detail.
* Experience in the field(s) of copyright management, data management, licensing, or publishing.
* High levels of initiative and decisiveness; proven ability to work independently.
Desirable
* A legal, design, librarianship or records management qualification and/or experience is desirable.
* The ability and flexibility to make decisions while working with multiple stakeholders from different cultures.
