The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced Business Development Manager with Estimating experience to join their Sales and Estimation team.
You will be responsible for sourcing new clients and quality projects, whilst aiding the Estimation team in the delivery of accurate, punctual quotations.
Responsibilities include:
Working closely with the Management team to seek out new project possibilities.
Reviewing marketing strategies.
Liaising with clients and sources of potential projects such as architects, surveyors.
Reviewing tender documents and ensuring the correct information available to accurately quote for the works.
Preparing and submitting PQQ and tenders.
Developing and managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors and acquiring competitive quotes.
Performing material take-offs.
Reviewing estimation data; analysing for improved short and long term strategies. The Ideal Candidate will have/be:
Proven experience within the construction industry, ideally within the high-end residential, commercial and educational sectors.
Track record of successful Sales Management
Confident communicator.
A can-do attitude and positive approach to a varied and adaptable role.
Good attention to detail with excellent presentation skills.
Highly organised, motivated and autonomous. Training/Progression opportunities:
