We are looking for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team, in Westbury, on a full-time permanent basis. As a Chief Cardiac Physiologist with InHealth, you will be proficient with BSE reporting guidelines, providing a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support our trainee physiologist and be involved in our clinical audit programme.
Main duties of the job
Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines. Provide expert clinical guidance via our second opinion rota, ensuring our reporting guidelines are adhered to during clinical peer-review. Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate. Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs. Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals. Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.

What you will do:
* Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.

About you:
* Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards.
* Hold BSE (or equivalent).
* A full UK driving license.
* A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles.
* A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies.
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
