We are looking for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team, in Westbury, on a full-time permanent basis. As a Chief Cardiac Physiologist with InHealth, you will be proficient with BSE reporting guidelines, providing a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support our trainee physiologist and be involved in our clinical audit programme. Please note, part-time hours may be considered for the role. What you will do: • Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with [1] BSE minimum data set and [2] local reporting guidelines. • Provide expert clinical guidance via our second opinion rota, ensuring our reporting guidelines are adhered to during clinical peer-review. • Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate • Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs • Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals • Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained. About you: • Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards • Hold BSE (or equivalent). • A full UK driving license • A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles • A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
