Scale Pay Point 7 (range 7-11)
Actual Annual Salary £19,557 - £21,306
Pattern of hours will be 35 hours each week
Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 3.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day
Term time only plus 3 days

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and adaptable Inclusive Learning Support Assistant to join our established SRP team within a school judged by OFSTED as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas, a school where both student achievement and attitudes to learning are amongst the best in the region. We are a fantastic learning community, set in one of Yorkshire’s most scenic areas, whose facilities have been further enhanced by the completion of a multi-million pound refurbishment and expansion project.
The successful candidate will work as directed to meet the educational needs of students and support them in all areas of school life, where necessary. They will encourage students to become independent learners and at all times respect confidentiality of information relating to the school and its students.

* Work as directed in supporting and enabling students with ASD to access the curriculum
* Work in partnership with the teacher in the classroom to ensure students are able to achieve their personal best
* Promote students’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
* Monitor student progress and report back to the SRP Manager
* Support and champion the work of the SRP and inclusion across the school
