JDR Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Export Freight Administrator. Our client based in Haydock, St Helens are looking to recruit an export freight administrator on a permanent basis. Salary & Benefits: Up to £30,000 per annum ( dependant on experience) 28 days of annual leave ( inclusive of bank holidays) Discretionary performance bonus of up to 10% of the annual salary Company pension scheme Hours of Work: Monday to Friday Week 1 – 09:00 – 17:30 Week 2 – 13:00 – 21:00 Job Duties: Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Proof of Delivery scanning Preparation of Export Documentation and final manifests-including Dangerous Goods Notifications (DGNs) for onforwarding to shipping lines Working closely with the warehouse team in the preparation of final loading manifests. Maintain and update internal systems to support the movement of goods through the warehouse Action other ad hoc duties as requested by manager. Maintain and update internal systems to support the movement of goods Ensure accurate and timely preparation of logistics documentation Skills / Experience: Minimum 12 months experience in groupage shipping Experience in the completion of Dangerous Goods Documentation and past experience of dealing with Hazardous Consignments. Good knowledge and experience of exports and customs procedures would be beneficial Able to work toward and meet deadlines Computer literate Possess team player qualities Able to plan ahead A proactive attitude Excellent customer service and communication skills.
