Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a high profile and highly successful Commercial Flooring Contractors who are based in the East Midlands but who carry out works UK Wide in their search for a Business Development Manager to cover the Midlands Region. Our clients are Commercial Flooring Specialists and carry out works in Fit Outs, Schools and Public Sector as well as in conjunction with main contractors. They are seeking a high calibre, driven and well connected BDM to work in close conjunction with the senior management and sales / estimation teams within the business who can grow the area from its current £1m annual sales and in return build themselves a key role in the business and earn a very attractive compensation package for their success, our clients reward their sales teams exceptionally well. Duties:- To develop and grow the existing specialist projects division within pure clients operation through targeted sales activity including but not limited to:- Establishing a data-base of potential end-user clients and arranging meetings and appointments to provide quotations for flooring works. Site Visits to survey and measure rooms to facilitated quotations. Producing quotations for work at set profit levels and following through to confirmed orders. Assisting the CEO in management of works on site. Daily and weekly record keeping of activities. Hours of work will be 8.30am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch. The role will involve office working and external appointments and some home working will be allowed to suit appointment timings. The annual leave allowance is 22 days plus 8 days statutory. A certain amount of annual leave will have to be taken over the Christmas break and this is advised on a year to year basis The remuneration package is as follows:- £28,000-£35,000 basic salary paid monthly in arrears on the last Friday of the month, depending on experience. A bonus of 2.2% of every completed order paid monthly in addition to basic salary Initially we will provide a van for your use and this will be reviewed after a probationary period of 6 months. A laptop and company phone will be provided and training given on company systems The target turnover for this division is ultimately in excess of £1 million per annum and is not capped as we the company will be able to service figures in excess of this with their current company structure.
