Cherry Professional are currently working with a market-leading Manufacturing company. They are looking for a Maintenance Manager, with overall responsibility for the maintenance of facilities/buildings, proactive maintenance of existing equipment, and the installation of new equipment using modern systems and procedures.
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday, 7am – 3pm. Friday – 7am – 12pm.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns and other faults on production machinery, plant, and facility equipment.
2. Log work that has been carried out, noting any non-conformances, faults, or errors repaired.
3. Help to identify root causes and proactively look for new and improved ways of working and propose corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
4. Attend and present at section and company meetings as required to proactively and positively support business development/projects.
5. Operate within a CMMS system.
6. Identify root causes of plant, machinery, and services breakdowns and implement the required mechanical and electrical asset care.
7. Assist with contractor servicing of plant, machinery, and services.
8. Fault finding.
9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
10. Follow maintenance schedules and carry out routine servicing of machinery.
Ideal Candidate:
1. 18th edition wiring regulations.
2. Experience working on a range of electrical and mechanical breakdowns repair of plant, machinery, and services.
3. Experience of implementing PM schedules.
4. Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and electrical systems.
5. Experienced in root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
