Project Administration Support and CAD Trainee
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bridgwater for a Project Administration Support and CAD Trainee. The candidate will assist with project administration tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating with teams, and supporting project documentation. The trainee will also assist with CAD design tasks, create layouts and drawings, and support technical design processes.
Scope and Purpose of the Role
1. Develop and sustain good relationships with customers and manage customer requirements effectively, supporting the project team and the finance team to achieve optimum performance for the company.
2. Prepare CAD drawings as required by project managers.
3. Issue CAD drawings to clients.
4. Assist project managers with quotes and tenders.
5. Process orders for projects and one-offs for the Project Team.
6. Enter all project jobs onto the Mercury system.
7. Check that items have been delivered in time for installation.
8. Prepare commissioning sheets with labels.
9. Liaise with Suppliers' Representatives and ensure price lists are up to date.
10. Answer telephone calls in a friendly and helpful manner.
11. Pass on details for invoicing to the Business Manager when jobs have been installed.
12. Assist project managers with installations as required.
13. Carry out any reasonable requests as instructed.
