We also dedicate 10% of your time each week to both personal and team development. Within the role you will focus on supporting customers with new Motor & Home insurance enquiries. You’ll bring your personal style to all customer conversations, provide excellent service and ask the right questions to ensure we offer the best solutions to new and existing customers. As you develop in the role, you will have the opportunity to build your knowledge across other personal lines products such as Home and Equine. We aren’t like other contact centres, we believe in taking time to have real conversations with our customers to gain a full understanding of the benefits of insuring with us. It’s important to listen and ask effective questions to help find the best option for our customers. On a typical day you can expect to take around 20 calls and work to individual targets. Working hours – Following training, which will typically be 09:00 – 17:00, you will be on a rotational shift pattern between 08:00 and 20:00 Monday - Friday and 09:00 – 12:30 every other Saturday. Although based from home, there will be face to face team days in Cardiff every 4-6 weeks as a minimum. This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”. Experience of homeworking in a previous role is desirable but not essential. Due to the frequency of travel to team meetings in Cardiff, we would expect you to live within a reasonable distance.
