Registered Nurse – Nights (two per week)

Up to £22.70 per hour
Do you have experience of working with older people in a Nursing home? I am looking for a Registered Nurse to work in a great care home providing nursing, residential and respite care for adults with Dementia/Physical Disabilities. The home has 80 beds and is proud of its highly trained team who maintain a homely and hygienic environment, that residents can enjoy a varied day-to-day lifestyle in, while adhering to the highest standards of modern care regulations.
In this role you will:
• Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life
• Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our resident’s physical, social and psychological needs
• Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation
• Build the positive reputation of the Business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively
• Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
For this post you must have:
• A nursing qualification and Valid UK NMC Pin
• Experience of working in a Nursing home
• Up to date clinical experience
• Knowledge of CQC standards
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to lead a care team
• The ability work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends
