Location: Nottingham\nPosition: Facilities Maintenance Assistant\n\nWe are looking for a proactive Facilities Maintenance Assistant to ensure the smooth running of our facilities through maintenance, compliance checks, and site upkeep.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nReplacing light tubes, emergency batteries, locks, and door furniture.\n\nConducting fire door inspections and weekly fire alarm tests.\n\nPerforming minor repairs (paving, building, plumbing, painting, etc.).\n\nSite housekeeping, stock management, and material handling.\n\nManaging subcontractors and compliance records.\n\nCarrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).\n\nWinter maintenance (gritting/snow clearance).\n\nAssisting with site evacuations and general facility upkeep.\n\nRequirements:\n\nEssential:\n\nGCSE Grade C or equivalent.\n\nMaintenance experience (hospital setting preferred).\n\nSelf-motivated with strong communication skills.\n\nKnowledge of engineering practices.\n\nFull UK Driving Licence.\n\nExcellent work ethic and reliability.\n\nDesirable:\n\nEngineering qualifications.\n\nLocal resident.\n\nRecent experience in a similar role.\n\nResourcing Group is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
