We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator in the centre of Stafford The Business & Enterprise Team is responsible for the County Council’s support to Businesses throughout the County. This includes the County Farms, Enterprise Centres, Business advice and support, Planning, Economic Regeneration and the Staffordshire Business Environment Network. The position is Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm, office hours. Main Responsibilities You will be working in the Shire Hall Business Centre in the middle of Stafford Town Centre. Your job will be to provide reception and administrative support to assist the Enterprise Centre Manager in the operation of the building and the businesses who work there. You will also: Ensure that occupiers are aware of sources of business advice and assistance. Be an on-site Reception presence at Shire Hall Business Centre, Stafford. Arrange for prospective occupiers to view vacant units and maintain a list of vacant units and an up-to-date list of occupiers. Arrange for letting documentation (licenses) to be signed. Arrange for the hire of meeting rooms and hot desking facilities. The Ideal Candidate You will need: to have achieved a Level 2 NVQ in Business Admin, Customers Services or equivalent and be willing to study to level 3. an IT qualification to the competency level of ECDL, CLAIT or equivalent and be familiar with Microsoft Office packages. good standards of literacy, numeracy and communication skills. previous experience in an office or reception environment is needed and experience of working with small businesses in a customer relations role would be most beneficial.
