We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team here in Microbiology, Singleton Hospital. The ideal candidate would have a flexible and friendly approach to teamwork and will have a non-judgemental attitude. Main duties of the job
The role involves providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the administrative and diagnostic services of the department.
The post holder will be a key member of the administrative team, working closely with the Business Support Manager, Office Supervisor, and laboratory staff to provide clerical support and contribute to providing excellent service for our colleagues and patients. This is a key supporting role and will include reception duties, data input, electronic filing, and input of test requests.
Joining our team you'll be responsible for providing general and administrative duties as well as answering the phones and greeting customers and visitors to our department. You'll be assisting with organising meetings and diary management, sorting and distributing the post, and updating our databases. In addition, you'll be undertaking routine financial processes and helping with other duties as directed.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
