Job summary Specialty Doctor Obstetrics & Gynaecology - 8PAs Applications are invited for the appointment of a Specialty Doctor based at the Conquest Hospital, St Leonards on Sea to start as soon as possible for a fixed term period of one year. The post holder is also required to perform duties at Eastbourne DGH. Main duties of the job The Department of Women's Health has an innovative multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with their nominated Consultant colleague. The team comprises of associate specialists, career grade specialty doctors, experienced trainee and nurse practitioner/higher level midwife. Midwifery care will also be linked within the team approach.The post holders will need to show a commitment to training and be proactive in maximizing the training opportunities available within the clinical unit and be prepared to take part in Audit and Risk management. Applicants should have the essential requirements of full GMC registration and experience at second on-call level. Desirable are the MRCOG and maintenance of a career portfolio.
