Key Responsibilities:
Supporting class teachers with lesson delivery and student engagement.
Assisting with small group work or one-to-one support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Helping with classroom management and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Supervising children during break times, lunch, and other school activities.
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children, either in a school setting or similar role.
A passion for education and supporting young people.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative. If you haven't completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide you with a free course.
To be eligible for any job with Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years.
