We are recruiting new people who really want to make a difference, working with us as Specialist Support Workers supporting ‘survivors’ of modern slavery. These roles will be supporting clients predominately in the South West.
Our Specialist Support Workers offer support that is integrated, holistic and trauma informed and geared towards meeting the individual needs of each ‘survivor’. We adopt a multi-agency approach and work in partnership with other agencies to ensure ‘survivors’ access their entitlements while we support them to gain confidence and the skills they need to recover and help them move forward.
Our key aim is to empower individuals and promote independence.
We can offer you the opportunity to:
1. Join a professional and friendly team who have backgrounds in either social work, substance abuse, housing, trauma care, child and youth services.
2. Work in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
3. Use a holistic, non-biased trauma informed approach.
4. Use your transferrable skills and experience to achieve best outcomes for ‘survivors’.
5. Receive full training, support and supervision to support ‘survivors’ effectively.
