Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor

Salary - £23,046.40 per annum + Personal Training potential
Hours - 32 hours (Varying shifts from 07:00-20:00)
As a Fitness & Wellbeing Advisor at our corporate club, you’ll have a strong background in corporate or commercial fitness. You will deliver exceptional customer service, whether interacting and supporting members through gym walks, motivating members in delivering our fitness services, or participating in promotional events, presentations, and other activities. Reporting to the Assistant Programme Director, you will proactively develop your knowledge and skills by attending training courses as required, striving to be the best in your profession.

As a Fitness & Wellbeing Advisor (Personal Trainer), you will:
Education
* You’ll have CIMSPA membership. (Essential)
* Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (Essential)
* Qualifications in Group Exercise and/or Additional qualifications to show professional development. (Essential)
* Special populations specialist qualifications (Desirable)
Experience, Knowledge and Expertise
* A highly professional, level 3 qualified personal trainer (Essential)
* Group exercise instructor (Essential)
* Proven experience in effectively designing and managing fitness programmes, both individual and group programmes. (Essential)
* Ability to teach studio classes and deliver exceptional customer service (Essential)
* A proven track record of achieving monthly targets and KPIs (Essential)
* Excellent written and oral skills, with an understanding of needs analysis and effective communication at all levels. (Essential)
* A proven strong team player who can proactively contribute ideas to improve member satisfaction, performance, and client service standards. (Essential)
* Able to manage tasks and workload in relation to deadlines and targets. (Essential)
* A strong background in corporate or commercial fitness (Desirable)
* At least 2 years experience in Personal Training (Desirable)
* Marketing experience and knowledge in digital promotions (Desirable)
* A track record in driving and developing PT Sessions. (Desirable)
* Confident IT skills – Word and Excel; Gym Manager and knowledge of My Wellness Cloud systems are desirable. (Desirable)
Role Specific Competences
* Deliver all fitness and wellbeing services (including studio and gym floor classes, body composition appointments, member inductions, programmes, challenges, workshops, MSM appointments, technique correction, and health and wellbeing advice) to an exceptional professional standard.
* Be aware of and understand all Health & Safety policies for the facility, including Site Induction Training, Risk Assessments, Facility Issue Reporting, Accident Reporting, First Aid (Yearly Course), EAP, Data Protection GDPR, and attend in-house quarterly medical scenario training to minimize risks to members and staff.
* Maintain qualifications, mandatory training, and personal development to ensure they are up to standard and current.
* Maintain daily cleanliness of gym equipment and area to required standards of both the client and Nuffield Health, completing all administration as required for audit compliance, including operational open/close checks of the facility and maintenance.
* Ensure members are aware of all services and facilities, and any future events which would benefit them and support sustainable behaviour change goals and requirements.
* Keep accurate, up-to-date administrative records in accordance with on-site policies, including PT session content and times, open and close procedures, maintenance, repairs reporting, and cleaning records.
* Attend weekly catch-ups, team meetings, monthly 1-1’s, and annual performance reviews, and work to achieve agreed KPIs and goals, completing weekly/monthly FWA agreed tasks on time and to a high standard.
* Support the promotion of the wellbeing facility at all times with accurate and up-to-date knowledge of services and future events.
* Quickly learn new IT Systems e.g., Microsoft Teams (Team Updates), Workday (A/L, Pay, Work Time etc.), Microsoft Outlook (Calendars, emails), Gym Manager (Member management system, PT, MSM payments), Microsoft Excel (Service Stats, and Site Service Financials), and XPanel & Soundtrack (Music).
* *You will also have the opportunity to build your Personal Training business outside your FWA hours.
