We have an exciting opportunity for a band 5 Occupational Therapist within our Mental Health for Services for Older People (MHSOP) Community Mental Health Team.
You will need to be motivated and passionate about the recovery-focused care of our older patients. The post covers the Mansfield and Ashfield locality visiting patients within their own homes.
You will be part of a very nurturing therapy team and will have the support of a Senior OT, with the opportunity to work with the wider MDT. MHSOP OTs also have the support of our Clinical Specialist OTs who run regular support forums and highlight CPD opportunities, alongside the band 5 development group for regular peer support.
Main duties of the job

You will need to have a BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent. You need to be HCPC registered. It is essential that you have a positive attitude towards people with mental health needs and can demonstrate how your experience would support you when working with this client group, including knowledge of dementia and mental health with an awareness of occupational therapy assessments and interventions suitable for this clinical area.
