Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Tailored Support: Provide responsive, person-centred assistance to individuals with complex needs, helping them achieve positive outcomes and independence.
- Foster Collaboration: Build open and trusting relationships with customers, colleagues, and partner agencies to ensure seamless and comprehensive support.
- Promote Participation: Encourage individuals to engage in social, educational and employment opportunities, preventing isolation and promoting self-determination.
- Manage Risks Effectively: Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain professional boundaries, ensuring health, safety and compliance with safeguarding policies.

This role is being offered on a part time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. This is a scheme based role working 2 - 3 days per week. This role will be based in the Truro/Falmouth/Penryn area.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups. Appointment to this role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Support Worker, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:
- Have an understanding of support needs and support planning.
- Have experience of risk assessing and risk management.
- Be a great communicator with the ability to build rapport.
- Have accurate record keeping and computer skills.
- Confident in lone working and be a good team player.
- Have a flexible working approach to work.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Be resilient and adaptable.
- Have an open, friendly personality and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
